Vision Statement

The mission of Royal Arch Masonry is to support
and promote a way of life that binds like-minded
men in a worldwide brotherhood furthering and
expanding the light of Freemasonry. The General
Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, International
achieves this as a support and service organization
utilizing a partnership effort between its members.
A better understanding of the history, symbolism
and esoteric nature of the Capitular Degrees will
result in an improved education of our membership.
These combined efforts will not only improve
fellowship, but lead to a greater compassion and
concern for all Masons.

1. To spread further light and knowledge thereby improving all members of the Masonic Fraternity.
2. Improve the image of Royal Arch Masonry internationally by encouraging a greater understanding of the history, symbolism and esoteric nature of the Chapter degrees.
3. To take all reasonable steps to retain existing members.
4. To maximize our communication efforts by all means available.
5. To live and work together in a devoted team spirit.
6. To encourage education and leadership improvements for all levels of membership.
7. To be the catalyst in developing harmony and unity with the leadership
of the General Grand Council and the Grand Encampment in supporting joint programs and activities when mutually beneficial.
8. To encourage support of the Royal Arch Research Assistance philanthropy.
9. Enhance Royal Arch Masonry by being more attentive and responsive to the needs and desires of the General Grand Chapter membership.

Website Agenda

“Spectemur agendo.” This is the core of our theme that we may be “seen by our deeds”, and the course of action our duty requires.  We’ve heard the appeals of grand jurisdictions, constituent chapters, and individual companions for the General Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, International to take a far more dynamic lead in achieving our Masonic destiny.  While our fervency and zeal for Royal Arch Masonry certainly requires strong leadership and a sound commitment to ritual proficiency, the most pressing entreaty is to teach companions how to learn.

In response, the General Grand Chapter is pleased to announce the availability of a comprehensive qualification training and certification curriculum, along with a wide selection of educational programs from our Capitular Learning Center. In the never-ending movement from darkness to light, the following five instructive outcomes will prove essential in the Capitular quest for excellence:

1: Enhance understanding of the Capitular Degrees to improve proficiency of Chapter Officers at the constituent chapter level.

2: Increase awareness of the ancient historic, philosophic, and esoteric lessons taught in Capitular Masonry.

3: Help better prepare companions for the Oriental Chair by enhancing their organizational confidence, leadership skills, and business expertise.

4: Inspire Brethren in Craft lodges to seek greater understanding through the illuminating light of Royal Arch Masonry.

5: Guide Companions to more fully explore the depths of human awareness and expand the good works of Capitular Masonry everywhere.

Project Manager and Educational Program Developer

High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.  Optimism for the future of Royal Arch Masonry is about bold ideas, dynamic progress, and quality of excellence. This is the perspective that Past Grand High Priest and Most Excellent Companion Marcus A. Trelaine brings to the business of advancing the influence and efforts of Capitular Masonry.

MEC Trelaine has proven himself a prolific author through numerous published articles, Masonic guidebooks, and training programs.  Perhaps his best known work to date is the “Operations and Training Manual for Chapter Officers: A Practical Guide for Governance in the Oriental Chair of King Solomon” - a compendium of Capitular Best Practices.

In operative application of his professional experience in non-government organizations (NGOs), advanced degrees in business and marketing, and diverse Masonic service and interests, he has successfully developed more than 40 comprehensive educational and training presentations.  In many ways, Marcus Trelaine has become the “man behind the curtain” for Royal Arch Masonry.

Recognizing the proficiency of his labors in the quarry, he has been honored with the Ephraim Kirby Award, Distinguished Service Medals in Silver and Bronze, Valentine Reintzel Meritorious Service Medal, and a Masonic Research Medal in the York Rite; and coronated an Inspector General Honorary 33° in the Scottish Rite.

No expectations are higher than one seeking to provide the best quality in service, whether to their profession or the Craft. Designing and developing websites is a passion and a labor of love. The skills required to create a successful website project are both singularly functional and broadly applied.  Every web project must balance the constraints of evolving project goals and changing technologies with escalating user demands and limited budgets. This project is only at its beginning, but the commitment to excellence, beauty and usability will continue throughout development of the Capitular Learning Center and GGCRAMI's new website.

Freemasonry has proven a major influence in the life of Bro. Zachary J Scurnopoli. Taking his first officer's position in his second year as a Mason, he has endeavored to contribute as much as possible in service to his fraternal brother and the betterment of the Craft.  The driving force of the principles of Freemasonry, and their ability to affect the world in a positive manner, has compelled him to actively support the objectives of the Capitular Learning Center and GGCRAMI.

A key area integral to the future of Freemasonry includes the development of robust Masonic web interfaces for domestic and international jurisdictions, particularly in development of Masonic education and training in the movement from darkness to light.  Through the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth, this website is built as a resource to assist Companions create their own pillars of strength and wisdom.  And, by presenting unique opportunities for Royal Arch Masons to think intensively and critically in pursuit of Masonic instruction, the GGCRAMI in connection with the Capitular Learning Center offers this powerful tool to help change the world.
